Black oak is special and exclusive wood that has 3600 - 4200 years. The tree fell in to the river 4000 years ago and that is way it becomes black. The sound is as unique as look. On black oak drums that I made play many musicions over the world like Yshai Afterman, Murat Coskun, Andrea Picconi.
